Taxonomy at EU level – what you need to know

This webinar deals with the EU Taxonomy and in particular the EU Taxonomy Complementary Delegated Act (CDA) on climate mitigation and adaptation. Special attention is paid to fossil gas inclusion in the CDA. Topics covered include the EU Taxonomy Regulation, the legality of inclusion of fossil gas activities in the EU taxonomy through a CDA and available legal remedies. The webinar provides an insight into a number of current developments in this area, e.g. internal review requests by NGOs on the CDA submitted to the European Commission.

By the end of the webinar, participants will have gained an understanding of legal concerns related to the inclusion of fossil gas based activities in the EU Taxonomy rules on climate change mitigation and adaptation and some other more general subjects of EU Taxonomy, delegated acts and available review procedures and legal challenges.
